Working with Budweiser and the Cavaliers, we created the NBA’s first-ever VR experience by making a new kind of VR headset for fans to use at The NBA Playoffs. The twist? Those VR headsets were also beer holders. One of VR's biggest obstacles is that few people have headsets, which is why we decided to make our own.
We started by designing a first-of-its-kind VR headset that could transform into a case for two Budweisers. We then captured VR films about the Cavaliers that featured then-Cavs player LeBron James, that could be viewed with them. We had 750 to give out at the Playoffs. After releasing them, they were gone within minutes.
